Since PugGaming opened up its websites and networks we have been very strong on community based events and other community generated projects.
We have hosted and had a lot of fun doing these events but times changes and so do people. This summer we had a list of events planned for the community in order to get things back on track and rolling with events. As you noticed none happened. This was for 2 reasons. The biggest was Taylynne and I spent a lot of our summer together out and enjoying the finer things in life and not much time with video games and online activities. The 2nd is based on sponsors and timing versus cost for the events we had planned. The big reason I do apologize for but in life things happen for the best.
PugGaming
will not be closing or shutting down , and we will still host our minecraft server and the forums in which you will be able to find latest news in PC gaming and talk as it has been. We will still be attempting to generate gamers and gamers to play with each other in various games and so forth.
Hopefully very soon within the next month or so we will be able to start back up with events and activity here at PugGaming. During the downtime we will still throw some random giveaways via our FaceBook and steam group just to keep things alive and going well. However for the larger actual game events those will be at a standby until further notice in which will be posted here on the forums.
We still encourage everyone to stay active via the site and our other networks. We will do one last giveaway for now for those who have been active the past few months and we will try to keep up with those mini events we had planned. As mentioned above our minecraft server will still be hosted and members here will still be playing on it etc. We will still take request to host game servers for our members here on the forums when needed or asked. Nothing is changing in terms of our resources or networks, only the big events which take massive timing / money and more to host.
We believe taking a break and making this post is the right thing to do in order to re-grasp our root of things and take time to prepare the future for PugGaming in a bigger and better way. We also did not want to keep everyone who has been active out of the loop in terms of the events we previously planned to have.
tl;dr : Our big events are at a standby / hault for now. We will still in the future host larger events and contest. Members should still stay active as nothing else is changing.
