hello all.
i know i haven't been active lately. but I have come to need some help, and thought you guys might be able to help me out.

I'm building an adventure map (open world, skyrim like adventure map with cutscenes and all that good stuff). but the few people i have had to help me build is almost never online to help me anymore, and we have only finished like 1/100 of the map.
i'm in need of some awesome builders to help me out here.
i must also say that I'm not letting everyone join in on this project. so if you wish to help me build this (hopefully best to date) adventure map, you should give me a picture of some/one of your good/best build(s) so i know you have what it takes (i don't have too high requirements), and some info on how to contact me.

hope to see some of you awesome people on this project of mine, in the near future.

A few members here I vouche for in minecraft. Once people start posting I'll let you know who to trust

I'll help if you have world edit for your server. Any other way I'd probably just get bored halfway through or get tired.

I'll also make a backup file of the world every few days, or whenever we have finished building any of the bigger builds, as extra safety. wouldn't wan't any major drawback on this, since its alsready going to take a loooong time to finish all of this.

i have both world edit and the voxel sniper.
if we get to need anything else I'll just add it later on. so don't worry about not having the tools to build it.

so i came to think. you don't have any idea what you actually go into if you say yes to join this project.
so i think i'll have to give a few screenshots of one of the buildings that have been made so far. (this is only the beginning, with some more help we will be able to build waay better stuff for the rest of the world).

If anybody can make a texture pack it'd be cool. THis is skyrim theme right?

if you want to compare it to any game, then yes skyrim is definitely the closest you get to this adventure map.
and yes, it could be awesome if we could find someone to make a costum texture pack.
also im in need of some voice actors for cutscenes for mainquest, story and all that, just to make it a bit extra awesome (this part is first when we are getting started on setting up the quests).

I can do some voice acting. Just add me on Skype. I'll send you a PM on here and then once you add me, we can discuss what you want me to say. I can record it using the voice recording feature on my PC.

i think we would want to just record the speach together with the rest. to make sure that movements and speach is fitting together.
the "narrator" is going to be voice over though, but that will mostly just be for the intro and trailer.
i also know one other guy who could do quite a lot of the voices using a voice editing program, but i don't think it would work with only him, lol.

also, im not sure if i added the right person on skype, since the name you gave me contains spaces, and it will not accept spaces in the skype name.

If you need a voice actor or a narrator of sorts, I'd be happy to help.

i could help with building and i have a great way of making the terrain for massive amounts of space i dont like posting pictures on this website but i can send them to you over sykpe or other means

i can make good looking maps thousands of blocks long and wide with custom terrain

voice actors will first be needed when we have most of the map done though. so it might take a good while before you can help with that.



sounds great. you don't have to send pictures, i have removed the whitelist, so everybody can enter as spectators but you can only build in the nether, that way you can show your worth by building some nice stuff in the nether, and be able to come with ideas for the adventure map in the meanwhile.

Pugaming world painter test

looks nice, but I'm not sure we are going to need that world painter though. we have begun building 2 of the cities. (the human city is only just started)
also we have both the voxelsniper and world edit to do the terraforming, it might be slower on a large scale, but its not that much that needs chaning anymore.
if i had known about it earlyer i could have used it to build the mountain for the dwarves though, instead it took me a small 7 hours of work with world edit and the voxelsniper lol. but its kinda too late now.

this could be very helpfull for future builds though, so i will take a good look into that program, since i have plans of setting a new world up, for people to build their own map, afther this one is build.

also i am quite sure i gave you the info needed to join in and help when ever you want (if you want) in a private message, so if you haven't seen it yet you should go check your messages

If the server was online with the normal map we could show more, we built so much and started an entire new area miles away from spawn, connected by a 15-20 minute fully automated rollercoaster, but unfortunately cant find any pics from there atm.... still looking (Y).
