Google is apparently making a new console called Ouya. Ouya will run free to play games and is an Android based console. The console also includes a developer's kit with each purchase. This means that you can create any game you want and then release it free to play for the Ouya. The Ouya is planned to be at $99. More information on the console is reported to come soon.

idk.  hopefully they make money with the console itself if it is all free to play... or something. 

i am not too sure about it, it stands and falls with ppl's desire to make free games for it, so it can easilly fail
still its a fresh take on consoles, so i am positive

Well the whole point of the console is that other people can make games and then release them. The only money they really want is the $99 from buying the console.
