By preordering Metal Of Honor Warfighter on Origin, you will gain access to the BattleField 4 Beta. The preorder price for WarFighter is $70. I want to try the beta but I have not preordered WarFighter yet. However, a controversy is being stirred up about this as EA had never officially announced that BattleField 4 was even in the makes, and the ad was quickly pulled off of Origin. Could this be a joke/trolling from EA or hacks? EA has now officially stated that BattleField 4 is in the making.

Hmm this could be a very big fail on EA part or a big mistake who knows.

If you remember they had Pre orders of ME3 to include the FULL copy of BF3 and then they pulled that offer after a few thousand people ordered it.

Well the ME3 one was still sent out to those people who did preorder it. EA claimed that they cancelled that one due to overwhelming response. If the BattleField 4 beta turns out to be true, will they give the people who preordered the beta or not?

The advert has been put back up on Origin. It seems to be true seeing as they put the ad back up after pulling it.

EA has officially announced BattleField 4. The advert is now on Origin and more details on the beta will be given out in November.

meh.  why must they squeeze out a new game every year... fps games are becoming sports games.  Each year is just a damn "patch" if anything...

well if battlefield keeps tp the release plan, we probably wont see it this year

The beta plans to release in 2013. Currently, you will only be able to get into the beta by preordering Medal of Honor Warfighter. However, a dev from DICE confirms that there will be other ways to get into the beta. Also, I agree that FPS games from a specific franchise coming out yearly is annoying. There is not much difference in the games you see (COD, BF), and although they end up being fun for the most part, it is irritating.

So when in 2013 will this be out?

The Beta will probably be in mid 2013 and the game might be released either late 2013 or early 2014.
