Anyone in the alpha for this game? The instant alpha pack is only $20 was thinking about picking it up. For those who don't know it looks like a cross between Minecraft and an RPG. Hardly "wow killer" worthy but looks interesting regardless.

Basically, it's an adventure-puzzle game set in a small, compact world... where you play as a mouse. There's not much action to it, but that's not the point: the game is about exploring, solving puzzles, etc. (Also; if hostile mobs detect you, your basically dead; there's a heavy emphasis on stealth).

is this thing real or a scam? i'm cluless in graphics technology, so if some knowledgeable people could give their thought on this. If what they claim is true, it seems rather revolutionary.

Is it safe? What games does it support? How hard is it to make your own profile for an unsupported game?
5  Gaming / Other Gaming / What would be the most hardcore game ever made? on: August 23, 2014, 03:26:30 AM
If you could make the most hardcore game ever made what would it have in it? Also try to keep this legal. Certainly a game where if you died while playing would kill you IRL would easily be the most hardcore game but Im pretty sure no one would be allowed to make it...I hope.

I was thinking a cross between Ultima Online and Entropia Universe. Entropia is a RCE (real cash economy) game and some people have armor and weapons worth $1000s of dollars. Ultima Online had corpse looting. Now combine those two and you can see where this is going.

This game was amazing until most of its fanbase became 12 year old star wars fanboys that can't spell for shit.

I used to be able to play. And if I had the ability to I probably would still be playing it. Problem is, I have AWFUL satellite internet and it seriously wants me to wait 208 minutes to download a 26MB patch for Dishonored. But I started the game was back in 2005, before Pirates, before Cygnus Knights, before Aran. Hell, when I started it was Victoria Island and Orbis. Ludibrium hadn't even been thought of yet. Oh how I miss the old MapleStory. I liked it much better before the Big Bang update. But many of my closest and dearest friends came from that game so it still has a special place for me. Sometimes I wish I could play it. In fact, I do right now.

This game is awesome. Smiley

I've thought about getting it but I've seen videos and it doesn't look as fun as I imagined it would. I was expecting much higher zombie density, more players per server, and a much better sense of realism (such as being able to build things and less jumpy combat). I'll save my survival/horror energy for the next Fallout game assuming they actually deliver that before I turn 90
