Yes that's right; I feel that most of the denizens of the internet are giving a collective groan as they desperately clench onto their wallets to prevent them from flying right to Bellevue directly. But for those of you who may not know, Steam has come up with yet another ingenious plan to enter into our wallets and coinpurses once again. These are the Steam Autumn Sales.

Now I know most of you might be extremely excited to see your most wanted game go on sale, but hold on for just one second. If you do a little looking around, you might be able to find that some websites are actually selling games on sale at a cheaper price than even Steam!
This nifty little website in particular.

http://www.steamgamesales.com/

This website keeps track of all the sales on Steam and then cross-references them across the net in order to find a lower competitor.

As an example:

On Steam, Valve is advertising Dishonored at a 25% discount, where another online retailer is selling the same exact game for nearly 50% less than the original price! So definitely check this website out and be sure to do your research.

Happy spending, fellow PUGgers!

Zeno Clash is a dollar! 90% off Smiley  (just a great deal I'd like to note!)

Always research! And if the game you're looking at and thinking to buy isn't at 75% off and isn't a daily/flash deal, wait for it! it'll be on sale on last day as well, and that way you don't miss a daily/flash deal of it being 75% off or a higher % off than what it is now (ie it's 50% now, and daily deal it's 66%)

Definitely look around on other sites too!

I have gamersgate notify me when any game I'm interested in goes on sale.  I have an additional 15% off on most any game on the website so I'll go there if it is same price as steam!

Amazon is matching all sales! So be sure to check out their black friday deals (though they add tax, at least for me! so I'd rather buy at steam)
