Great Scott!

Valve announced today that it was planning on implementing a "big picture" mode to Steam. Essentially, you'll be able to play your PC games comfortably without those nasty resolution problems.

It will feature controller support, so long as you have a controller that works with your PC..

Yup, I think Valve is making the move to try and get more people to join to PC darkside. The arguments that people have for console that they enjoy playing on a TV with a controller is no longer valid. And, it would be nice to be able to play some of my games at a higher resolution on a big TV with a controller. There's a time for mouse and keyboard and a time for controllers.

I hope Valve releases this within the next year or so. This is, after all, how you get a Xbox 720 or PS4 before they're actually released. Cheesy

Yes, I think they're just trying to make it easier for the general population to do so, without any resolution issues.
