The famed MW2 map Favela has been removed from the game due to protests from Muslim players. Although the game is 3 years old, these players had discovered a quote in one of the bathrooms that is said to be from the prophet Muhammad. It reads "Allah is beautiful and He loves beauty." Complaints were filed afterwards, and the map was removed after blackmails were issued. The map will not be added into the MW2 map rotation again unless the map removes all of the offending imagery is removed. Activision says that they are working on a title update for both MW3 and MW2, and when they remove said imagery, they will re-add Favela back to the rotation. For now the map remains online. No official date has been given for when the update will happen.
