Valve is releasing a puzzle maker for portal 2!  It'll be released May 8, and will be integrated with steam workshop.  I guess the workshop has been doing really well for team fortress 2 and skyrim (seeing as they're working on expanding it..).  It will be available on both pc and mac. Smiley

They say it'll be really easy to use, and that we'll be able to create test chambers of all sizes!  They're going to release more information next week apparently... but here's their video for it!

I like the videos they make for portal, they can be funny...

Very interesting would be neat to see it come in play with other steam games. ( the way it all works that is)

Why don't you like the workshop thing?  I personally don't have issues with it yet (tho I heard it has limiting issues); I wouldn't have ever looked at mods for skyrim (until I've played the game a whole lot), and I've found some real nice ones that don't change the game up too much... that just enhance the game.  But I haven't used it for tf2 so perhaps that is why you don't like it?  I think it makes it easier for people to get mods, who don't normally know where to get them or don't look for them.

I wonder what other games they plan on implementing this for.. if any ofc.  I can't see why they wouldn't though

just recently got portal 2 from a friend for my birthday, not really into making maps, but certainly looking forward to all the new puzzles about to be created out there.
