1:11 PM The Reckoning has RA Salvatore. That's enough for me to want it, nevermind that it is an open ended fantasy game.

Summary:

EA's conference was relatively short compared to Microsoft's, at least it certainly did. EA started off strong with an epic opening of Mass Effect 3 and then never stopped with the intensity. The Need for Speed game was certainly very different, since it didn't just involve racing anymore. It now features some parkour. However, it just looks like a bunch of quick time events, and as we learned from Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy... those are REALLY lame in a game. EA ended with what's expected to be a huge hit, Battlefield 3. It was an epicly long trailer, and I highly recommend EVERYONE who missed out on E3 to at least watch that trailer. The graphics look amazing, and the tank gameplay that was featured in the game looks great. DICE announced that Battlefield will be released October 25, earlier than its competitor Modern Warfare 3, no doubt to try and outsell Activision.

Exciting things:
- Everything. I highly recommend you go and watch the conference.

Open BETA starting September 11 and the game is to be released October 23. Four more months......four more.

I'm not sure about dates for the other regions, but it is confirmed that the game will available in Europe on the 26th. I'm not sure about the eastern section, but since I pre-ordered I hope to be able to atleast pre download it and also be able to play as the same time my European comrades.
