Ubisoft is taking its first few steps into animated filmmaking through Assassin's Creed: Embers, which is going to be a CGI film that follows the events of Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

Embers will be available on the same day that Revelations is released: November 15th. It will be bundled with the pre-order version of the game.

From what I can see in the trailer, we're following Ezio once again, who is now an old man. He's probably regretting missing out on some parts of life for... well being a badass assassin.

I think we can safely say from the Revelations and now Embers trailer that Ezio, even in his last few years, is f***king awesome. I'd want him to be my grandpa.

Here's the trailer below:

I really want to buy Revelations on Steam, but the collectors or animus edition is so great, going to be a tough decision. Unless of course Steam has the art book and film in a digital deluxe edition which would be awesome.

I want to watch this before playing Revelations just like I did watching lineage before AC:2
